What is my politics

I am a fiscal republican. I believe that the government should keep out of business and there should overall be less government in our lives. The government has ruined numerous programs such as social security, healthcare, and debt. It is because the government has a negative effect on this country. Low government and low taxes is the key to getting out of the economic recession. Business is what runs this country and the middle upper class(who runs the overall business of the USA) needs to have their taxes reduced because they are struggling in this economic recession. 22% of Americans do not pay taxes and the middle and upper class has to pay for a huge majority of taxes. Obamas view of "spreading the wealth around" is a failure and it is a socialistic idea. America is a country of capitalism (aka business) and the government should not heavily tax the upper class because they are the ones who control our economy. Reducing taxes on the rich/middle class will overall ignite business production and and help our economy surge.

Machiavelli analysis

                  Machiavelli stood for many things like the people need a leader to rule them and they should look good in the peoples eyes at all time. He says that "So long as you do not deprive them of either their property or their honor , the majority of men live happily." He says that a leader should have two fears 1 involving the people close to him and 2 the foreign powers around him. He thinks it is more important to keep a leadership position than be honest. He says that you need to be a fox in order to see the traps and a lion to frighten the wolves. Hes pretty much saying that you have to play both sides of the fence in order to stay at the top and look good for the people.

                      The exigence of this ad is that if you smoke you will die and if you don't you will not die.The audience is smokers and non smokers. It shows logos by saying if you are a non smoker you don't have a grave and therefore you are not dead. It shows pathos by using graves and showing death.I feel like this is an effective ad because it clearly shows that people who don't smoke will not be another statistic.
